34-The 5 Ts that shape us

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” – Proverbs 3:5 (NIV) The Christian life is like a five-layer cake, each layer different, but together they bring depth, joy, and purpose. Here are five powerful “Ts” to nourish your soul: 1. Trust Psalm 127:1–2 Life is not a DIY project. If God’s not in it, we labor in vain. Trusting Him means resting, even when the to-do list is long. He’s working even while we sleep. 2. Trials James 1:2–4, 12 Trials are faith workouts. They stretch us and grow perseverance. They’re not fun, but they are fruitful. Ask God for wisdom and let the hard things make you stronger. 3. Temptation James 1:13–15 Temptation isn’t sin it’s a test. When we resist, we grow. God doesn’t tempt us, but He gives us strength to overcome. Choose what’s right over what’s easy. 4. Tongue James 1:19–26 Our words matter. Speak less, listen more, and soak in God’s Word. What comes out of our mouths reveals what’s in our hearts. Let your speech bring life. 5. Turn Ezekiel 33:11 God longs for people to turn to Him. He offers new life to anyone who repents. Be faithful in sharing truth and love God will handle the results. Final Thought The Christian life is full of depth, challenge, and joy. Embrace the Five Ts and walk closely with God—He’ll shape you into who you were created to be. Prayer Lord, help me to trust You fully, endure trials faithfully, overcome temptation daily, speak with wisdom, and turn continually toward Your heart. Use me to lead others toward life in You.
